The Goth Prom committee has officially announced details for 2013’s event. Goth Prom is consistently one of the Twin Cities’ biggest and best events of the year for goths, punks, and misfits of every persuasion and we highly recommend it! And if that wasn’t enough to convince you, admission is free 🙂
Check out the press release and we hope to see you on May 20!

Goth Prom X: Exorcism
The Saloon in Minneapolis Presents the Tenth Goth Prom.
Goth Prom is an annual event held in downtown Minneapolis.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, Monday, May 20th 2013 – Be prepared for the EXORCISM – dance your demons out! Free admission, 18+
This year, Dragons Fire Theater joins Hard Mondays and The Saloon in bringing a fantastic display of enchantment, magic, seduction, and illusion. Witness incredible feats of strength and fitness, superhuman mastery of dark arts and control over fire, bizarre creatures of the night, and heaps of cheeky fun. Join us at 9:00 pm for the beginning performance by the Minneapolis Fire Collective, stay through the evening to see performances by Mistress Jean Bardot, aerialist Zyra, and others. DJs Noise, Nitrogen, Fenris, DV8, Nightstalker, KM and Petey will be spinning dance music, supported by VJs Jake Rudh, Big Kev, and Nemo. This onslaught of catharsis and talent is sure to make this year’s Goth Prom one of the best events of 2013.
This community-organized event also features a Hall of Demons gallery displaying art by the local community, and games of skill with proceeds benefitting The Emily Project Foundation (www.emilyprojectfoundation.org).
Prizes come from local and national retail sponsors including Midwest Makeup Company, alternative futurist clothing retailer Cryoflesh, local music label Shinto Records, Tattoos a la Dang, The Ink Lab, Capitol Guitars, and more.
